Service Policy

Limited Warranty

While buying any product from the Website, you are agreeing to the terms of this Service and Warranty Policy (“Policy”).

Ozone Group (“Warrantor” or “Company”) extends the following limited warranty solely against manufacturing defects to the purchaser of the Product from the Website (“Product”) for 2 (two) years (“Warranty Term”) commencing on the date of purchase from the Website.

The Warrantor warrants to the Purchaser that the Products are free from any defects in material or workmanship. If, after initial installation, any of the parts of the Product should become defective, the Warrantor will repair or replace the product, at its sole discretion as per this Policy.

This Policy shall apply only when the Product is properly installed following as per the printed instructions provided with the product. Further, the product shall be installed by ozone authorised service personnel. This Policy and remedies set forth, to the extent permissible by law, are exclusive and in lieu of all/any other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether written or oral, express, or implied, provided by the Company.

Terms and Conditions

This Warranty shall remain valid for the duration of the Warranty Term, commencing from the date of purchase as indicated on the original invoice. The Warranty only covers rectification of manufacturing defects.
Prior to the initiation of replacement procedures for manufacturing defects complaints, all products covered under the Warranty shall be subject to a physical verification process. This verification process will be conducted by a qualified Technical Officer or an authorized representative appointed by us.
Upon successful completion of the verification process and confirmation of warranty eligibility, we shall facilitate the replacement of the affected products. The surface finish/shade of the Product is not covered under this warranty. Replaced parts/products shall be the sole property of the Company and shall be returned to the company.
Damage to the Product due to non-operation caused by weather is not covered under this warranty.
Any tampering with the Product by combining it with products/parts of other manufacturers shall render the warranty invalid.
This warranty excludes every condition/liability not expressly set out herein.
The Company may restrict warranty service for the Product to the country where the Company, its affiliates, or its authorized distributors originally sold the device to, and not to the country to which the product is further exported.
Any claims arising out of the modification, extension, or addition to the warranty given under this Warranty Policy, provided by any Company-authorized seller, agent, or employee shall be deemed invalid.
If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
This warranty is subject to inspection by the manufacturer to verify the claims.
The warranty does not cover products not fully paid for.
Decision of the Company on the admissibility of claims under the warranty would be final and binding.
The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions set out in this warranty without notice.

Claim Procedure

The customer must present the signed and sealed warranty card together with the original product.

In case a technician is required to visit the place of installation, after registration of a request for the service, the prevailing price list would be applicable if the location is within the municipal limits of the city/town, where the Company service network is. In case a technician is required to visit the place of installation, after registration of a request for service, the Company’s dealer’s nexus, travelling and other incidental expenses shall be payable by the customer, if the location is beyond the municipal limits of the city/town, where the Company service network is available.
For any claim under this warranty, the company will at its discretion, repair and/or replace any malfunctioning product(s).

Disclaimer/Limitations

This Policy is the only warranty provided by the Company, thereby, for all other implied warranties including but not limited to merchantability and fitness of a Product for a particular purpose, the company shall in no event be liable. Furthermore, in no event shall the Company and/ or any of its affiliates be liable for any incidental or consequential damages and lost profits, considered to be arising out of the Product, its installation, or its operation.
The liability of the Company and/or its affiliates is limited to the price paid for the affected Ozone Product. Additionally, the customer shall be completely accountable and responsible for battery replacement(if any) as well as keeping emergency keys safe.
This Policy shall not cover:

cosmetic damages including breakage of the door in case of need, or if the keys/passcodes are lost; or
products installed with unapproved accessories; or
products with cases of damage to plastic parts, including but not limited to scratches, dents, etc.; or
damage to the Product as to the non-operation of the Product caused by weather
modification of the product or any alteration of any part or component thereof; or

vi. cases of seepage of liquids/chemicals, short circuit, physical damage, wrong/improper installation, battery drainage, or any other type of intrusion.; or

damage due to accidents like fire/robbery/self-inflicted breakage etc. resulting from incidents beyond the Company’s control; or
damages due to harsh environmental conditions like direct sunlight/humidity/vibrations etc.; or
damages due to third-party peripherals; or
damage due to excessive pressure or inappropriate cleaning tools/equipment; or
damages involving defective workmanship, defective and faulty installations or materials; or
servicing, repairs, modifications or handling etc. by any unauthorized personnel.

Further, the Warranty on the Product would not be applicable under the conditions that fall out of the scope under this Policy, including but not limited to: misuse/ or use of the product(s) for purposes other than its normal intended use or handling of the product(s) in a manner not in conformity with standard handling norms or arise out of a product operated in an inappropriate operating environment/mishandling of the product due to customer’s negligence/improper installation or failure to apply or follow instructions as noted in the manual or tampering/repair through an unauthorized service provider.

This warranty applies only to the first end-user and is non-transferable with any subsequent resale of the product.
The Warranty to the product is governed by and construed under the laws of India, and all disputes arising thereof shall subject to the jurisdiction of New Delhi.
Except for the warranties set forth herein, the company disclaims all warranties, express or implied or statutory including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The maximum liability under any circumstance shall be limited to an amount equal to the invoice amount of the particular product or any part of the particular product paid by the customer. The Company shall not be liable/responsible directly or indirectly for any claim, compensation, damages, losses etc. under this “Limited Warranty” due to inconvenience, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of data, loss of goodwill, work stoppage, any personal and/or commercial loss, compensation for mental agony, anxiety resulting from the use of the product or any direct or indirect loss of any nature whatsoever (including any personal injury or death).
All products on which the warranty has expired will be repaired/serviced on chargeable basis only, subject to availability of the parts and upfront payment.
